At Accounting ONE we are dedicated to assisting those who are less fortunate or in need. As an accounting firm to small businesses and a small business ourselves, we understand the effects that the economy has had on Australians in the past year. The Salvation Army studies show that one in ten Australians are living in poverty. At a time when people need it the most, Accounting ONE has given back to the community through various donations and fundraising appeals. We strive to continue giving and supporting our community.

This year, the team at Accounting ONE have chosen to donate to the under-privileged children of the Salvation Army Wishing Tree appeal. We are using the funds that we would have used to send Christmas cheer to our clients to purchase gifts to donate to the disadvantaged young boys and girls.

During the 2009 Tax season, Accounting ONE donated $5 to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation on behalf of each client who participated in our special promotion of completing and lodging their 2009 tax return with our firm. Due to our fundraising efforts which drew to a close in March 2010, we were able to raise $1,000 to donate to the Gold Coast Hospital's Children's ward to assist the hospital in continuing to make a real difference to the lives of the children and their families. |
