Welcome to the May E-Newsletter

Welcome to Accounting ONE’s very first E-Newsletter! where we aim to provide you with topical and relevant information by drawing your attention to the latest tax news and business developments through the newsletters and our new interactive website.

With business getting busier and 2010 TAX season approaching, we made the decision to start the New Year in a new office. Accounting ONE is now located at Level 1, 34 High Street in Southport, just around the corner from the Gold Coast Hospital. At the beginning of March we welcomed Peta Wilton as a new member to the Accounting One team. Peta is our trainee receptionist and will be the face of Accounting ONE, looking after the front desk including administration tasks, answering all your calls and booking appointments.

Karen Murphy has now progressed into the full time role of Assistant Accountant. Karen is supporting Averil, Accounting ONE's principal Accountant and Tax Agent, with the preparation of Income Tax Returns, quarterly Business Activity Statements, answering clients queries and managing Accounts.

The Launch of Accounting ONE's New Website

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our new interactive website at www.accounting1.com.au, and in particular our unique client login feature which will provide great benefits for our clients. 

Client Login
As a part of our new interactive website, clients are able to register for a secure client login. This provides peace of mind with the advantage of being able to view your personal documents, past tax returns, financials etc, directly from within your own "password protected secure client area" at anytime, any where in the world.

Plus, it is now easier for you to provide us with your bank statements and MYOB data by uploading these to your secure client area. We will automatically receive a notification that these have been uploaded, without the hassle of emails and phone calls. Online Services
At Accounting ONE, our clients' are our priority, and our website has been designed with you in mind. A wide selection of services are available for you to access online including: 

• Calculatators - Basic Loan Repayment, Stamp Duty and Reverse Mortgage are only some available online for you to use,
• Tax Time Checklists - To assist both individuals and businesses with collating original records and documents for the preparation of Tax Returns, we have made our Tax Time Checklists available for viewing online. Please note that these checklists are generic, and some items might not apply to your situation,
• Tax Facts - Learn more about tax requirements within Australia,
• Key Dates - Keep up to date with important taxation dates and deadlines.
